I had a very lukewarm experience at LAE. If you're looking for a course to improve your daily Spanish skills so that you can order food, chat with your hairdresser, make an appointment at a restaurant etc - this is not the place. Instead of teaching survival language skills it's heavily focused on everything being grammatically perfect - to the point where even after a full week on the intensive course I still couldn't say one sentence in Spanish. I highly recommend finding a private tutor who will tailor the class to your needs instead of racing through a textbook. The classes also consist of people who are learning at different levels than you so at times you'd have to go slower through sections you've grasped already - to accommodate others- and at other times sections that you struggle with have to be skipped to, again, accommodate the pace of others. *Bonus, a private tutor outside of LAE is half the price and the best decision I made.
